Default Stupid dumb question

As you know, I'm doing an engine transplant to my Lotus 7 using S2000.

Here is the dumb question of the day.

I disassembled the shifter. How do you shift reverse with this engine?

I can't find the reverse after I reassembled the shifter.

Do I have to push down the shifter?

There is a lockout isn't there? Is it somehow engaged when it shouldn't be?
