Default Surpassing 300+rwhp

Now that i'm at 290, what other mods can I do to get past the big 3 0 0. I am going to do the Comptech header as soon as its out, but I'm wondering what else besides more boost I can do. I heard someone say that the PB Throttle body on the SC can give gains of 14hp. Is this true? My V-AFC is going in soon, i'm just waiting for my field harness so I don't have to hack anything up.

From what I've heard, Comptech will not be making an S2000 header.

I think the combination of an intercooler and an agressive pulley would bump you over the top. Anything you can do to lower your intake temperature would be the most advisable route at this point. Maybe even route the Comptech airbox to a ram at the front of the car. This may not improve your dyno numbers, but it could improve your real world performance.

I wouldn't try leaning out your mixture with the V-AFC, that is usually the fast track to grenading your engine.

Quite the opposite, I was just up at comptech last week and the due date is just around the corner. Not only that but I have pictures of the prototype on their S2K.

Send a PM to Mdigrappa....he's knocking on the 400HP door. Maybe you can help him offset costs.

You would be surprised at how little my Mugen headers, BYS straight pipe (no cat), Comptech exhaust, PF TB bore, and extrude/hone intake manifold adds to the HP increase of my SC...

ZERO. My HP/rpm profile is almost perfectly linear though. Other than that, all my mods give me NO GAINS above what the SC gives. Pulley + Intercooler is it... don't waste your time and money on anything else (even though the Mugen headers are gorgeous )
