Default Suspension

Hi

Since I am going to be a Turbo S2000 I need you guys to tell me:

1- Which coilovers ( I can not drop my car due to the rear difusser)
2- I was thinking in a X brace in the Front and in the Rear I do not have a clue
3- Daily driven
4- Best combination

Thanks

I've heard great things about the Buddy Clubs and the Teins. I cant wait until I see your car in the fall when I'm in Madrid for 4 months. I would suggest an X-brace but a front sway bar would be even better as you can eliminate body roll and make the car more neutral (elimate the oversteer characteristics). -Anthony

Why would having a turbo require suspension mods? If you can't lower your car, keep the stock suspension.

BTW, there is already a discussion about sway bars and X-braces.

1. I heard lowering your S decreases your tracktion. I'd recommend Teins but be prepared to have some rust on the adjusters on the top. I'm keeping mine stock height.

2. Rear I don't have a clue either haha . But I highly recommend Spoon X brace and front strut bar. Never had a problem with mine and the difference is tremendous.

3. My S is Feb 02 and it already has over 30,000miles in it. The point? My S is turboed daily driver. I only suffer minor rust issues with some parts and fuel mannage issues. I'm running too rich right now. But with fine tune you should be perfectly fine. As long as you don't boost over the limit. 7psi is what mine is pushing and what I recommend. Surprisingly my gas consumption has not changed at all (alright alright a little. I'm wasting about 5 miles with turbo per tank with 93octane. Not bad at all).

4. No such thing as far as I'm concerned. Every S is different and your environment and type of driving (and your personal taste) will determine the best combo. My only suggestion is that don't get cheap with your car. You get what you pay for (most of the time )

1- Buddy Club coilover (I have a nice offer but I can say anything)
2- Spoon X Brace
