i have a couple questions for you guys. i just purchased some koni yellows for my 01. somebody told me that the struts have an adjustable perch that lets u drop the car 1" on the stock springs? does that mean if i buy some tein springs, i can get a 2" drop total (1" for the strut + 1" for the spring)

now, if its not true, that the strut has an adjustable perch, what spring out there offers the greatest drop, (more than an inch) i think the ones i've seen so far are the espelir's at 1.3 (i hope thats how u spell it) and kgmm's at 1.5

is ther anything else out there? thanks

- the perch does NOT bring it down an inch...
- there are two "slots" where the perch can be placed...
- I would say the gap in between each slot is MAYBE 1/4"

 

If you have the Koni's then I would recommend getting the Ground Control Coilovers.....only $399 and you can drop it about 2.5 inches if you want, and then always adjust to your liking, something not possible with springs. Major wheel tuck

 

Just installed Koni yellows a couple of months ago using lower perch & OE springs. As advertised, provided a 1/2" drop front & rear.

the height difference b/w the two perch settings is only about 1/2".
