Suspention question?

Suspention question?
Just a quick question. I bought a set of MY02 oem shocks with tein s tech mounted on them. When installing the front passenger shock i noticed that the nut welded on the lower shock was cross threaded. I simply cut the nut off and installed the shock with a good oem bolt a lock washer and blue locktite on a properly sized nut. I torqued it to oem specs and finished the install.
Is there anything i should worry about?

installed the shock with a good oem bolt
Suspension components have to operate under stressfull conditions.
What you did sounds ok IMO if you used an OEM suspension type bolt & nut.
(with the fine thread)
The Loctite is actually better then OEM as the OEM shocks don't have a locking nut welded on them.

I'm surpriced you found a "just off the shelf" M10 x 1.25 nut at all in the US.
Standard pitch for M10 is 1.50mm.
All OEM suspension bolts have the fine pitch thread, most (if not all) of them are 1.25mm pitch.
As long as the bolt is strong enough
