Default swap syn oil after time vs milage?

Tried the search but didn't find my question answered. Here it is. Does anyone have info or feelings on the need to change synthetic oil after a certain time period. I almost never get milage issues as I have short season busy life issues. I do change for track days etc. but if my car is garaged for 5-6 months is my syn oil ok?

It should be, just change the oil as soon as you take it outta storage and you should be ok.

Now that I drive fewer miles and stopped going to the track I change oil once a year and I know I am still disposing good oil.
