Default Swapping a F22 in my ap1

I just got the F22 in my ap1, got it all back together! Started it a couple times, then took it out for a couple times around the block twice. I parked it on the street and it won't start now. I put the key in, everything lights up and then i pushed the start button and nothing. no crank, nothing. Tried jumping it, that wasn't it. Then I unplugged the negative side of the battery just to see if it needed reset and nothing. If you have any advice, I would really appreciate it.

Oh yeah, the car wouldn't rev about 3000rpm.

Definitely re-check all of your wiring. Did you use your AP1 harness or AP2?

Sounds like an electrical issue with the starting for sure.

As far as not revving above 3k rpm, could be electrical or you could have valvetrain issues. My old AP1 engine did that just before it broke a retainer and dropped a valve into my cylinder. Did you have the AP2 engine checked out before you dropped it in? Not trying to freak you out, but just sharing my experience. I hope it's something little like a sensor or bad wire/ground.

Best bet is checking all wires again like states above. Pay close attention to all the grounds.

What year is the AP2 engine? If you are using a '06 or newer engine, you have to swap out the cam and crank pulse wheels with your AP1 engine.
