Arrow Taking Out Compartment?

I have a 2000 s2000 and I purchased a 2004 compartment (for the windscreen). I need to take out the compartment in my car inorder swap compartment lids to get the windscreen. I have unscrewed the screws at the top and under the center console. I can't seem to unscrew the screws on the sides of the compartment because I can't access it. Help? I tried opening the hooking things behind the seat and unscrewing that screw. The screw doesn't unscrew all the way =(. Please helP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thankssss

Why don't you just take off the windscreen and re-install it on your existing compartment lid?

Go through the trunk. You'll need to pull the rear shelf, which will reveal an additional panel. After this panel, you'll see the screws that are holding you up.

I think you may have to take the roll bar trim out, or at least loose to get that lid out.

And the bolts that hold the hooks on do come out.. you may not have backed them out far enough.

What am I missing here?
You bought a complete center glove box assembly just so you could have the windscreen? And you're taking the whole thing out so you can put the whole new thing (that has a windscreen on it) in?

Well personally I like the lid with no holes in it.... and I'd keep on with no holes in it rather than drill.
