Default Tappy Engine - trial and error tried plese help!

Hi all, i have a 99 S2000 with 85000 miles on her. Last few months theres been a noticeable metallic tappy noise coming from the engine when cold that gets faster with the revs but also seems to die a little once the car is warm. I have changed my TCT, had my valve clearances re-checked, oil and filter change and also spark plugs. I had thought after looking around on the forum this would have solved it but to no joy. Can there be any other options? Car also made 225bhp on the rollers and I know its an old car and they will always lose power through the years but I cant help but think that this noise is something major and losing me power?

Any help is much appreciated
Thanks

S2000's have loud valve trains - may just be normal. You've checked the right things TCT and valve clearance

There has been talk of the nr4 injector being noisy aswell so maybe consider cleaning / replacing injectors

Have you a video of the noise?

The mechanic who changed your TCT, and adjusted the valves...what did he have to say?

Use a stethoscope to get a better idea of location of noise.

Our injectors are very noisy compared to other cars. You can try some chevron techron, or if you really want, you can have them all cleaned and flow tested professionally.. but it may not help.

I am going to say that sounds more like something with the pullies vs rod knock. It doesn't have a hollow enough sound to it. Curious to hear other opinions though.
