Default TCT

Hi! I just changed my worn out TCT and I have everything for the old one. I understand that some people sandblast the old worm gear and piston, who would I send this to? I just ask that you pay shipping and it'll be all yours.

Um, did you not know you needed to send him your core to receive the core charge back?

Maybe I'm greatly misunderstanding?

I bought it from a friend who replaced his with something handmade, Idk what it was exactly. But whatever, I'll just keep my TCT after I sandblast and put it in a glass case as a reminder. Thanks for the hospitality.

You can sandblast the worm gear and then reassemble the TCT, but it wont last forever. I've done the sandblast trick and it fixed the issue for about a year on my AP1.
Best bet is to use your current TCT as a core charge replacement for the Billman TCT. I finally put one on my AP1 and it was solid. Fantastic piece.

The Billman Gen-X uses different length bolts than the OEM unit. Did you get these with with the used unit? I recall he needs the old TCT and original bolts back to insure the right bolts are used.
