I purchased and installed a TCT about a month ago (almost 400 miles) from Honda, and it started making the same noise that it was before replacing it. Thoughts? I have a feeling that this thing has gone bad already.....

I had issues with mine after a good track day.

It only made noise when cold. After warmup it would stop making noise.

I went directly to buy one from BillMan. He's a s2ki member and offers a modified tct with lifetime guarantee.

had no issues at all mechanically speaking, he's a serious and fair guy.

I totally vouch for him.

 

people using Mobil1 tend to have more issues with TCT than people using other oils

 

try switching oil brands, it's a cheap test. Otherwise contact Billman250 and get one of his, maybe he can buy yours as a core ?. These are the biggest piece of junk parts Honda has ever made they should be ashamed charging people to replace them every year. If Ford or Chrysler ever made these parts the media would never let them live it down, but Honda gets away with it all these years.
