Tein hood dampers

anyone use these? im trying to figure out if they are a good product, and a direct bolt on. i dont feel like drilling anything.

they look cool, and the no drilling part is nice but not worth $125 IMO.

i want them because i have the comptech intake, and my hood prop keeps hitting the intake. i want to take it off and use these.

They are still under development...and it won't let the hood go up 90 degrees...It has already come out for the ITR and some other cars that I've seen them operate on.

Since it is NOT recommended to push close the OEM hood, I wonder if these lifters will allow the hood to be dropped.

If they were cheaper I'd buy a set. Man, just slapping a name on anything will raise the price these days, its ridiculous.

It's an aluminum hood. You'll dent it.

How hard would you actually need to push so it would dent? Cause pushing the hood dosn't dosn't really take alot of force or pressure.
