Default TEIN RA General settings question

The manual tells me to set it at 10 clicks (from full stiff) FRONT and 6 clicks (from full stiff) REAR. This would make the rear 4 clicks STIFFER than the fronts. My question is... are these settings correct? I looked at what people were setting their KW Variant 3s to and they set the rear about 75% SOFTER than the fronts. This would make more sense to me because it would result in the rears gaining more traction and reducing over steer. The Tein recommended settings seem to be opposite. Any help?

Thanks in advance,
Geoff

Well I am trying to adjust them but there is only so much you can test on the streets. Not everyone has the time or money to go to a track and dial in settings. This is why I am asking for a general direction in adjusting the coilovers. My logic is that the rear dampers should be softer than the fronts to compensate for oversteer but the TEIN manual states that the rear damping settings should be stiffer than the fronts. I saw that the owners of KW v3 share my logic in that the rears should be softer than the fronts. I'm just wondering why the tein manual states the opposite.

basically they have either a different opinion on how a car should be set up vs KW or the adjustments are not 1 for 1 relative to each other. if you look at it from the way you are seeing things, basically tein like oversteer?

Oh I see.. so there is no general rule when setting up F:R damping settings? Its all personal preference? Would it matter if the car was FF vs FR? I guess my question is what is generally faster on the track? rear damping stiffer than front or front damping stiffer than rear? Or is that preference also?

if you're talking about track times, then it's kinda like this. a "good" setup would be one that allowed the driver to make his best time. now this may differ from driver to driver, so yeah
