Is there a way to modify the stock steering wheel position so it's further away from the dash (closer to the driver)?

Thanks.

I sit two clicks forward on the track, so I can comfortably reach the steering wheel thru high G corners. However, in that position, it's just not enough leg room for me.

Hmm...I guess there isn't a way to modify it to telescope.

Anyone know if you can at least stretch out the steering wheel so that it's closer to you?

I'm also interested in this. I have to move the seat all the way back to sit in my S due to 6'2". If I could move the stock steering wheel about 1 inch closer it would be a lot more comfortable and give me more knee room for heel toe.

I already have the back yard special lower seat rails, but I would like to be able to keep the stock steering wheel and move it closer by about an inch or two.

Do the aftermarket steering wheel hub adapters work with a stock steering wheel?

Wow, I'm only 6 feet tall and I sit all with the seat as far back as it can go, and if anything I'd like to get the wheel a little further from me, lol

seems like some people like to have the steering wheel pressed against their chest. Beats me how people can drive like that but to each their own:P

You could do the extension, but you have to depower the airbag when you install it or it could kill you. This is no joke as I was burned in a normal deployment and I would never want that thing close to me.

If you track seriously, you can just go the standard route and remove the stock system and get exactly the length you want.
