dam i thought you senior guys knew it all......yes you can...pull the third fuse down on the right column and the light wont come on and the car will run stronger cause the ecu is reset everytime you start the car

this was a mod i learned from Marcucci
problems:
must reset dash lights every time you start car
doesnt remember fan settings heater, a/c etc..fan resets to off
no chiming if you leave lights on
no chiming when key is in ignition with door open
no idle prob
no CEL
as far as disabeling other codes...that one i dont know
but 10k miles... not 1 prob
just saved 15 pounds
and Im comitting a federal felony

I think gernby had the same problem I do, as well as others, with the car stalling before the car is completely warmed. After warmup there wasn't an issue. Idle quality suffers some but not much once warm.
cdelena, you might mention that the Mugen ECU will also prevent most people/states from passing inspection.
A simulator is the only way to go if you don't want to swap a cat out every year for inspection (what I do). I just live with the idle.
