jerrypeterson, don't know about you but I like having no CELs so I can tell when I get a real one!
cdelena, if the Mugen has OBD2 functionality it is new to me. I know in the D/FW area all the large counties require OBD2 datalink testing for 96+ and not the rollers. Have you seen that the Mugen has OBD2 functionality (or just spoofs it)?
BTW, I've been wondering when someone would make a box to spoof OBD2 "all clear" codes.

Funny thing on my car is that I've had the test pipe on for some time now, reset the ecu many times, and the CEL never ever once came on.
Since I bought the car used, I even took a look at the ecu to make sure it was stock.
Should this be a cause for concern?

apparently the site that used to be around isnt up anymore where you can purchase them from
since we are on the topic of test pipes dont get me wrong less restriction and more free flowing exhuast gases is great. more power and what not minus the gas smell and the increase of exhaust noise. but the car went from a very low emissions vehicle to a high emissions vehicle lol, do i care nope not really lol.
my question is this i know in terms of restriction a reg cat is the best for doing its job. since many are having issues with the test pipe, why not go for a high flow? still a cat but not quite a test pipe.
