Default Test Pipe Install

So I finally got around to installing my Berk test pipe. After getting it all hooked up the rear 3 bolts match up perfectly, the front two line up and bolt together, but the pipe flange is not flush with the header flange. I started the car up and let it idle and it seems that no exhaust gas/ fumes are coming out of it. Is it ok to leave it like this? My worry is that it is not a flush seam from pipe to pipe. What do you think? Thanks

As long as that thick donut gasket is in good shape and positioned correctly, that connection doesn't have to be flush. The gasket fills in the space and makes the seal. That's why it's designed like that. If it's flush, then it's a bonus. Run it for a while and then go under and check it again for leaking.

Did you try tightening the front 2 first?
