Default Test Pipe Install Leak

Hey all I installed my test pipe and catback today pretty straight forward so I thought. Everything bolted looked good but when I checked for leaks I find one from header to test pipe. The bolts are tightI can not figure out why or what I'm doing wroing plz help thxs

is test pipe opening too wide
no compressing spring bolts enough
defected test pipe

You You can still see the doughnut gasket but bolts are tight whTs going on ?

It's ur donut gasket. It's too small i think. Did the tp come with a gasket?

The TP came with a doughnut gasket.

I tried the OEM gasket first it didn't work.
I tried the one that came with the test pipe it didn't work

I do not want to put the vendors name out there until I have had a chance to contact them first. Not looking to bash anyone just looking to get this fixed

just don't know if there is something wrong with my install process or test pipe fitment at the moment

This is a 70mm test pipe but it said bolts to OEM headers.... Frustrating

Bad angle on this photo of my high flow cat but the flanges look much closer together than yours.

The shop manual calls for replacing (fit new) both "spring bolts" and the gasket when reassembling the exhaust. Gasket goes in with the small end into the cat.

^holy shit the underside of your car Chuck, is so clean I could eat off of it. Love it.

Anyways, I had a similar issue with mine when I installed my Berk. Replaced the gasket and I was good to go.

Yea your test pipe looks a lot closer to the header than mine.
