Yes I think the test pipe matters whether u are N/A or F/I! The Berke test pipe is good too. I have it. Has a built in O2 sensor!

Um, just so people go running off to the hills thinking this, NO, it doesn't have a built in "O2 sensor". What it has is a built-in "mechanical O2 simulator". This is just a welded on tube into which you screw the stock O2 sensor. It supposedly puts the sensor tip far enough away from the exhaust stream that it doesn't completely register all the unburnt hydrocarbons and throw the ECU into a fit.

i hear that the berk doesnt work 100% of the time and that the anti fouler method is better. and i would think so becasue i made my test pipe like the berk but it threw a code. so i cut the little extension off and just welded a bung straight and used the antifouler and the light hasnt come on for almost a year which is like 12k miles for me.

Minus diameter differences none of them will perform better than others. Resonated TPs will sound a little different, a little less raspy. All will be louder than before by a pretty good bit but they tend to eliminate drone if you were experiencing problems with it. Some have brackets for the heat sheilds from the stock cat to camoflage the fact that you have a TP.

As for a suggestion I would say get a T1R if you are looking for non-resonated and a Megan Racing pipe if you want resonated. Make sure to run anti fouler per the thread referenced above. Help! PN 42002

Assuming you're running an AEM EMS w/ your turbo, the whole 02 sensor/CEL thing is a non-issue. And if you're not running the AEM, you really want to consider it.

As far as a test pipe, basically, for a turbo, get the biggest one you can find. Of course the same goes for your exhaust. Running a huge test pipe w/ a puny exhaust doesn't really do any good.

Well I have the invidia exhaust but don't want to get rid of that. I just need a test pipe. If I can find one local what do you guys suggest? What is the difference between resonated and non-resonated...
