I had posted about my engine overheating when turning the heat on. I figured it might be the thermostat, and I almost paid a shop $350 to replace it. But someone outside of the forums suggested I should just bleed the coolant system because the heater core probably has air in it.

I then searched the forums and found Xviper's howto on coolantsystem bleeding. It was very easy and it fixed the problem! Thanks Xviper, I don't have a owner's manual so it helped a lot.

Now apparently a question must be asked when posting on under the hood, so my question is: what is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?
