Default Quick question

How illegal is it to drive without a hood? Big fine, car towed? I want to pick up a hood in Everette and I live Lakewood. Any recomendations, opinions, suggestions?

Here's a link to the same question you have. Seems like there's no issue, but I would call the state patrol just to make sure though.

illegal or not, why would you do that? doesnt seem smart as far as lack of protection for the motor and all the parts in your engine bay.

Noody I know has a truck. It may not be smart, but it might be necessary. If there was another way I would have done it already.

Fwiw, I've seen an Eclipse on the I5 w/o a hood before, but I guess that doesn't make it legal.

Give me some money for gas and I can probably find the time to drive it down there for you.
