...And things that go "thunk!" on right turns
My car has recently developed a thunk when I do a 90 degree right turn at or above 25mph, after doing a left turn at the same speed. Two right turns in a row don't cause a second thunk. A slalom will cause successive thunks on each right turn.
The sound seems to be coming from the area of the right rear suspension, or possibly the differential, but I can find nothing loose down there. There is no softness in my brakes, as one might expect if it were a wheel bearing issue.
Since I autocross the car, I need to fix this before the next autocross; the car has seen a great deal of track time and autocross runs, although it still looks wonderful and acts perfectly (other than this issue).
Any ideas?

Retorqing the rear axels fixxed the problem with "thunks" on my car, altough i only had them with changing going frontwards/backwards or sometimes under shifting or corners..
Be sure you remove both axels from the hub, cleaning the splines, adding some molycote grease, putting them back in and retorqen them to about 300NM.
DONT retorqen the nuts without removing the axels! It wont do the job, thats the same as torqing an nut what is welded onto a metal plate...
