I was the one that pointed out that the DC dyno chart was wrong. I never said it was fabricated...just wrong...and yes the Mugen one is wrong to...I noticed this a long time ago but, didn't feel the need to point it out... Neither of them is a real dyno plot so maybe in the recreation of them something went wrong. I won't go as far as to say they are fabricated...just wrong...it is a mathmatical impossibility for hp and tq not to cross at 5250. If it doesn't something is wrong with the dyno or something else...every dyno I have ever gotten done crosses exactly at 5250! Once again I am not saying that either of these companies is trying to mislead you...it's just that both dyno plots are wrong!

Hmm, lack of exact crossover could happen if one curve is SAE corrected and the other is not. But that seems like a stretch.

Either way, those curves look partly doctored to me. Why dont they give us the straight dyno output.

maybe they don't use the kind of dyno we normal folks have access to?

maybe they use a static engine dyno?

why doesn't Honda give us the wheel HP instead of crank HP?

Because it would be too confusing for the average buyer...

Well I just ordered a set through my brother in law. He says that his distributor has them in stock and will have them delivered tomorrow. I also order a new shift knob, dash kit, neuspeed stb, and a few other goodies. Hopefully everything will be under 6 or 7 hundred when they arrive

not really, if everyone used wheel hp, it wouldn't matter... plus it's not like the average buyer knows that the hp listed is crank and not wheel... heck they don't even know the difference.

I believe it would be too late to switch to wheel HP as most people WILL get confused.
