Default Thottle Body Question

Can anyone please tell me what the puropse of the cooling line running through the TB is for other than for cold weather starts? My logic may be wrong, but isn't hot coolant running through the TB going to have an adverse effect on power?

Yes, that's hot coolant (sounds weird I know) running through your intake manifold (not actually TB). If you get a Hondata IMG it blocks the coolant off and has been proven to lower temps.

One car fits all. They do it so they can sell the same car into Anchorage or Vegas... Economies of scale.

If you are never around snow or freezing temperatures you don't need it. If you get to cold temperatures... it is helpful, but not necessary. The car is just tempermental at warm up.
