I assume you were looking for the Technical Data Sheet, if so here you go:
Ha.. next time no not ass-u & me
The TDS was available from the Pennzoil website but the MSDS was not... well.. I could not find any Pennzoil product on the Shell website.
If there is no (real) info about base oils in the TDS (and there wasn't, just the usual blabla about how great good and perfect their product is - no offence: they ALL do that) I try the MSDS, where CAS # might be listed.
In a MSDS of Shell Helix Ultra X, they out-in-the-open state the oil is a mixture of grp IV and V base oils, with dino oil as additive carrier (<= 3%).

(but lets not turn this into an oil thread)

We need a WikiLeaks on oil filters....

There is a PU Euro FAQ on the front page of the BITOG website where it is stated by Pennzoil that PU Euro is blended with group III basestocks. I knew this before I put it in my engine. Is that what you were looking for?

Yeah, I figured that was coming.

It is funny that you mentioned the Helix Ultra MSDS sheets. You mentioned the HTHS, Visc, etc. and I thought you were looking for that information.

On a side note. While looking for the PU Euro, I clicked on the Helix Ultra 5w-40 for a look. I was surprised to see that it spelled out it's 70-80% PAO content.

From what I recall, the Honda PCX filter is the only one that flows enough oil for sustained high RPM running. The Atlanta S2000 club won't let owners track their cars without this filter, unless they have a system for catching the oil that blows out past other filters (that don't flow enough).

I don't know if it's true; that's just what I remember from the track day rules. Sure sounded like a good enough "why" for me.
