Default Throttle sticking dbw tps?

I have an 06 dbw s2000, once the car picks up speed usually shifting into third gear the revs dont come down when you press the clutch in. Also if your in gear and you let off the gas pedal the car keeps accelerating slowly. The only way I can get it to come down is by jabbing the gas pedal with my foot and the revs drop back down like they normally should and that doesnt always work sometimes i have to just go in the next gear and force the revs to come down by letting go of the clutch. I cleaned the throttle body i thought it was sticking and it is still the same problem. Im thinking about maybe checking the voltage on the tps sensor itself? or is there a way to reset the dbw module or something like that? does anybody have any insight? Should i just buy a aftermarket throttle body? are the tps on them reliable??

Sorry for all the questions I just need help its an emergency I keep ruining the car each time I have to drive it im not sure as to what I should buy, I would really appreciate any thoughts.

The following codes are on my car and have been for months so I dont think they are affecting it:

84-1- Sensor Logic Failure

83-1- Engine control module, powertrain control module

I dont know what either one of those means..

I've noticed that my '06 will hesitate to drop the idle speed back to normal in certain conditions. When I put it in neutral or just clutch in to coast to a stop, it takes several annoying seconds to drop the idle back down.

But I've never sensed it doing that when trans is engaged, so its not causing a drivability issue. I always assummed it was deliberate programming of the ECU. Maybe something trying to smooth shifts or something.

But what you describe sounds similar, only much worse. With mine I don't have to stab the throttle, it just drops down on its own. So it never felt like it was sticking.

But whatever it is I'd like to get rid of it.

You need a scantool so you can see what the throttle percentages are off throttle and WOT, you will also need to know what percentage is considered closed and that should be a good start. There is a TPS in the pedal IIRC, that will also show up on a scantool but since its a potentiometer you should be able to check ohms across it, again you'll need to know what the specs are to relate your cars values to the proper range.
