thrust washer
sorry this is my first clutch job. i was just reading a few threads about the thrust washer. i was wondering when i replace my clutch in a few weeks, does it also replace my thrust washer?
It's a thrust washer not a trust washer. Unless you plan on removing the oil pan and main girdle you won't be replacing them with a clutch job. The thrust washers are put in the block before the crankshaft is.
i dont remember how many times i kept my foot down on the clutch at stoplights but i guess i did it for about the first 20K miles. does that mean i have to replace it sooner? i have 40K on it now. i ask this because there was a guy who did it for 30K and had to replace it.
