what's the torque rating of the gun ?, my ingersoll-rand gun snapped mine off like nothing at 90 psi and my compressor is relatively simple. My axle nuts weren't touched in 9 years and wouldn't budge with a normal breaker bar, but the gun worked great. I barely unstaked the nuts too, the gun did all of the work.

I'll check the torque rating. This sucks. Lol. Gotta find my manual

I just tried what one of the people said to try. I can set it to highest torque and actually grip the socket and it won't spin. Wtf. Maybe it's broken. Problem why I can't get it to break anything loose

That gun should have enough omph to take off the nut. Oil the gun again. Perhaps the vanes are stuck onto the rotor.

What's the diameter of your air hose?

Sounds like you have the 3/8" dia hose which should be sufficient.

When was the last time you oiled the gun? If it's been a long time ago, it's probably best take it apart, clean the vanes, and then oil them individually.

I've used that gun before and it has enough power to undo 180 ft-lbs.

I just got this particular gun last week, I oiled it the first time I used it, but haven't since, just used to pop a few bolts off, then oiled it and sat it in a drawer in my garage

it looks like a good gun, the actual torque in steady use is going to be much less than 400 ft lbs though, they do funny things with ratings.

Run it at 90 psi and see if it works any better, not sure if upping the psi setting helps or hurts on smaller compressors. Otherwise it sounds like the gun is bad if you said that it would not exert pressure when held in your hand ?

What's the psi on the compressor outlet? If it's 90 psi, then the pressure is not high enough.
