thwapping or clunking noise from car
I have an O6 s2000 with about 37000 miles on it, and there is a clunking or thwapping noise it sounds like it is coming from the front of the tranny, hard to tell. when it is in any gear and only under acceleration not decceleration. also the noise does not occur when the car is jacked up with both rear wheels off the ground and in gear. it seems to only be happening when the car has weight on the drivetrain. there is no noise when the car is in neutral. i have recently replaced the clutch disk and the transmission however the problem happened afterward and not prior. i do have a toda lightweight flywheel and an ACT heavyduty clutch kit with the disc being OEM. the throwout bearing was replaced at the same time the transmission was as well. this replacement occurred about 1500 miles ago. there is a sound coming from the rear but that is not the issue right now. also with the clunking sound it starts out slow when in firt gear and right when a shift into a higher gear the sound gets faster and it will get louder when the rpms go up but in 5th gear or higher the sound streams together, but is still very noticeable. if anyone has had this problem before or if they have any ideas please give me your advice. im going to be hopefully taking it apart this weekend but if someone else knows what it could be then im open for suggestions.
thanks

I ended up taking the car apart and found that the rear was damaged. the final gear was damaged, so i am opting to place a used rear in place of it and will eventually upgrade it later. thanks for looking.
