Default ticking after engine off

Hello~

I just picked up a Silverstone S2000 couple days ago, and I kept hearing this "ticking" after I got out of the car.

Is this normal? I'm gonna try to record it and show it tomorrow.

The way I can describe it is.. It's like mid-pitched metal 'clink'

Anybody have any idea what this is?

Normal.

Cars with aftermarket headers and exhausts will do it a little more than stock cars.

Mine does it too. I always joked saying my old manifold was cracking. It did crack after a while...

Normal as others have said. It seems to be pronounced on cars with either aftermarket exhausts of cars where exhausts have been removed for som reason (my case is rear Eibach sway bars).
