Whenever start moving from a complete stop I hear this ticking sound from the rear end. Kinda reminds me of a nail stuck in the tire, but it's not a regularly occuring sound and it stops doing it after I get going. Anyone ever had this before? I know the S2000 is a noisy car but that doesn't sound right IMO. The car is a 2000 with 50k miles by the way.

 

Re-torque your rear axle nuts. A search in this forum should get you many threads.
