i posted a week ago about a ticking noise that i thought was the valves and everyone posted that it was normal. what was strange today while going to lunch i hear a constant squeaking noise coming from the engine bay. so, brought it to the honda dealer and unfortunately they can't do anything until Friday morning, but they said it probably has something to do with one of the serpentine belts.

7k and already having problems.

 

thats funny, i just started getting this type of squeeking/squaking sound from the bay too. but this was after a krank vent install. also, my car has about 45k miles too.

 

does anyone know if the serpentine belts on the S2K have had tsb?

 

There's only one serpentine belt. It would be unusual if it was actually bad with so few miles. No tsb's that I'm aware of.

 

what if the pulleys were loose or not aligned properly would it make that sound?

 

sqeaking noise was a parts sticker that was hitting one of the belts. it was nothing major

first visit to the dealer so i made them take care of the popping sound when the top is up as well.
