Default Timing Chain Auto Tensioner - Help?

I know this has been addressed already. I found what was left of the thread after xviper was done with it. I was in the middle of replacing my turbo and like the other fellow I made the mistake of taking the auto tensioner out. I have all of the pieces in perfect condition and am able to figure out how to reassemble them but I could a little assistance with the re-installation procedure. If it needs to be done via pm or email so be it. Please help.
Thanks!

You'll need to retract it first, and pin it with a set pin. Once installed, there's an allen plug on the front of the head, remove the plug and pull the pin. It helps to remove the stock airnox for access to the pin.

You can also remove the oil jet, retract and lock it with a bolt and set nut, and install it in steps. This way you don't need to pin it, or remove the allen plug.

In all honesty, I have replaced 3 in the past 3 weeks....they are notorious for going bad and causing major chain noise. I would get a new one from Honda, prolly 120 bucks, comes already pinned.

Advice taken. After calling 18 different Honda Dealerships and finding prices ranging from $186 to $111, the only people who had it in stock was a local dealer (Rosenthal Honda, Tysons Corner VA) for $150. Thanks for the input.

Installing....re-install with two bolts and tighten.

Remove the allen plug on the front of the head, and pull the tensioner set pin through this hole, replace plug

Right angle needle nose pliers work well, removing the stock airbox will make it very easy.

I appreciate all of the input Bill. Thanks a lot. It was a piece of cake install especially since I have the turbo setup so there's PLENTY of room in front of the engine ! I'm past that part now and back to other issues. It always seems that for every obstacle you tackle there are three more waiting behind it. Oh well... hopefully I'll have the car up and running very soon.

Excatly what is this chain noise and when does it occur? I've been trying to figure out this odd rattle thing my engine has been doing for the past couple years.

Rattle pretty much describes it Usually right after startup. It will make a clattering noise for a sec or two then stop...in bad cases it will do it all the time at idle.

For the cost, and ease of install, just do it. It's been way to common lately.
