Timing Chain Tensioner?
I start my car, the revs go up, and when it comes back down I get a rattle that lasts for 2-3 seconds.
When I rev it up again, and the revs come down I hear the same noise. Sounds metallic, and doesn't sound like exhaust. Sounds like metal to metal contact.
Could this be the classic timing chain tensioner problem?
