Timing Cover Removal

Timing Cover Removal
I'm having a very hard time removing the cover. I'm pretty sure I removed everything in its way and holding it down. Where exactly are the pry locations? The oil pan was very easy but this thing just wont budge!
Here's a picture. Let me know if I forgot to remove something.

Your crank position sensor, while unbolted, is still sitting in place. While that's not the reason you can't break the timing chain cover loose, I would recommend removing it completely before prying on the timing cover. There should be tabs (I don't recall their exact location) in place for you to pry. I used a small flat head screw driver.

There is one bolt slighty hidden....right behind the crank sensor wire. Its a short one.
The timing cover will take quite a bit of force to break the original grey sealer.
Let me know if you break it I have 10 of them.
