Default How can i do this?

im working on my car atm. i've taken all bolts and pulley out of the way. now im ready for the chain cover to come off. how do i take it off? because it seems to be glued to the engine. any suggestions??

it is glued on with Honda bond sealant. I haven't touched mine but you will need to pry it loose, a long flat head screwdriver should do it, pry between the block and the cover. Honda often puts pry points around their sealed covers, I would start with the top though as the easiest access point.

Don't you have to drop the oil pan or something to remove the chain cover?

*Edit - Yeah pretty sure everyone else drops the pan when removing the chain cover.

I'm in the process of removing the oil pan but there's two bolts that's hard to get to, which is right below to the right of the crank pulley. There's no space to take off the bolts.
