Default Tired Engine?

Well I'm a mixed driver of being a very aggressive driver to laid back and take in the air from being top down.

I've noticed the other day that my s2k of 62k miles on it now..had a sort of hesistation. Around 3k rpm's and in first gear you can hear your engine work. Now staying at that rpm and not acceleration or anything I can hear my engine kinda whine. Sounds like it's a hundred year old engine. I have lots of power and it doesn't feel like it's a clutch going out.

Anyone have any thoughts about it?
