Default Toda Cam problem

I purchsed the Toda cam (the very first release verion the version I) with exhaust side valve spring, during the via-ocean-shippment, the cam got rusted and the cam has some burn-out on it. But, it seems OK since the cam is not bent or others.

However, after the install, we found that once the rev goes to 8000'ish rpm, then the power loses huge, however, what might be the problem?? May it be the valve springs not strong enough for the intake/exhaust side (install the valve springs to the wrong side?) ?

Dude, I lost a motor to these cams, and made neglidgable power tuned... my advice would be to dump them... the revised version that is silver seems to be doing alright for some other owners, but if you got the first run (cams were black) get out while you can...
