Fella's ...1st off this is my first mod besides the espelir springs, I just got the Toda header installed today by Import-modz in Jersey City by (kevin) what a great guy!! he charge me 100 bucks for a 2 1/2 hour install...

Anyways Iam not to excited bout the noise Iam hearing from the header, I hear a mild tone of hissing when I accelerate from low rmp till Vtec esp from 1st-3rd gear. .. But I do feel better throttle response or maybe I feel somethings else that make the car seems a bit faster.. I could be wrong!... also while the car is idling the engine seems a bit louder and anoying .(maybe Iam just to anal?) but is this normal for a hissing sound... btw I do here this same sound when I installed DC sport header in my old SI hatch.. hoping this is a normal sound when installing aftermarket header...


Any advice/ recomendation/ opinions on this situation?

The sound is normal, due the the thin wall constuction of the header.

I have the same sound...throw in a testpipe and it'll drive you up the wall
Your hearing the exhaust gas pass through the thinner walls of the header.
