Default torn wire


it runs to behind the hub near the center. what is this wire for and what happens now?

Probably for the tone ring for the ABS and/or the VSA (if equipped). It is important and you should fix it or your ABS will be non-functional.

Likely broken during suspension install.

A new ABS sensor will come with a new wire.

Also note it appears your brake hose may have a 360 degree twist in it from caliper removal.

Upper control arm bushing is torn as well.

Sigh vsa/abs lights are on as I was afraid of.

uca bushings are intact, just the normal 80k of wear, I think you must have mistaken because the arm was disconnected in the picture

I don't have experience with wires, but if i twist the two together, and climp it with this, would that secure a long lasting connection? Does this require soldering? I appreciate the help guys

If you use a good quality heat shrink (the one with glue) over the crimp it might last.
But I would rather solder it and use glue lined heat shrink.

I would use solder and shrink tubing. You don't want water getting into there and causing issues while your driving.
