Torque question on Vortech SC install
On page 5 of the instruction booklet, item D, the printed torque figure of 18 ft/lbs has been crossed out and 5 has been hand written in its' place. This relates to the 6 screws that secure the pulley and damper together.
For those who have installed the Vortech, can anyone confirm that 5 ft/lbs is the correct torque figure for these screws.
Thanks for helping.

As far as I know, it has not changed from 18 ft/lbs. Here is the online instruction manual:

I wouldn't trust a hand written change unless you found out from whoever changed it why this was done. 5 ft/lbs is barely hand tight. This is a high load, critical component. Vortech has even instructed you to use Locktite on each of these bolts as there is a better than average chance that it could come loose.
