Default tranny additive

Any good stuff on the market? I need to change the tranny fluid and would like to use something which helps in cold climates making shifting easier.

thanks

Try a synthetic gear oil. GMSMFM is a good choice. redline MTL will work also.

Also look into Motorkote hyper lubricant. Add one oz. to every quart you put in for the tranny. Add it to the crankcase, tranny, or diff. I have it in my tranny, and crankcase, and there is a noticeable difference, buttery smooth shifts, and no more playing with reverse to get it to engage on those cold days. according to Motorkote it can reduce friction by up to 44% improve power by like 18% and increase mpgs by 13% or something like that. Check it out at www.motorkote.com approx $20 bucks for 10 oz. Well worth it ide say.

Sorry, i did not mean it makes any hp or mpgs, but restore it i.e. my 2000 s2000 w/ 60 k miles wouldnt still make 200 whp if it were stock. Motorkote is a Synthetic concentrate, which doesnt alter the SAE rating of the lubricant being used.
check out their demo vids, i saw it in person while they were adding weight at summit racing. http://www.motorkote.com/demo.html and see the dyno results here http://www.motorkote.com/dyno.html. I know they probably strech the truth a little, but i added it to my pennzoil synchromesh trans fluid which is already 10k miles old, and i noticed a lot of difference in my transmissions performance. For instance it doesnt grind going in to 2nd every once in a while during those first few minutes of driving,i dont have to toy with it to get it in reverse on cold days, and my shifting times are somewhat shorter. As for the engines performance i have not noticed much of a difference, but i will buy again for my tranny someday...

Sorry for any confusion, just quoting motorkote based on their information.
