tranny noise and a slight rough feel?
so i have an 04 s2k that im borrowing from the dealer. and everytime i get in a gear from stand still it makes a clunk noise. basically the gears are slapping eachother. this doesnt happen if i get on the clutch for a few seconds then put it in gear.
i basically put the tranny in gear soon after the clutch is depressed all the way and makes a noise where the drivetrain gets rid of its gear slacks. is this normal? it sometimes sounds like its grinding a teeth or two at times if i do it fast enough.
i've test driven other s2k's but never had the same feeling in the tranny. probably jus this one?
thanks guys... and girls?

NORMAL!
You have to understand how a manual transmission works.
I've already given many lengthy dissertations on this. Here's one:

with Xv, it's normal. Follow your own advice and wait a second or two.
