Ok so i rebuilt my ap1 tranny, got it all put together, installed it in the car and i cannot move the shift rod. its stuck. Outside the car the shift rod moved like it was suppose to but installed on the car it wont budge, any idea what might be wrong?

 

did you reconnect the ball at the end of the shift knob correctly?
and if the shift knob oem?

 

yes i did

 

Don't kill me for saying this, but check it again.

 

i have multiple times. its not the shifter its the shift rod.
