Default tranny winding noise

OK so i have done my searching and nothing has come up to at least close to what I'm hearing from my tranny and i wanted to see if anyone had the problem with there tranny before or knows whats going on. basically in all gears i can hear a winding type noise from which im sure is coming from the tranny it starts as soon has i start moving but stops when at a complete stop. i can shift through gears perfectly fine. idk maybe being paranoid. but things happen in terrible 3's and ive replaced my motor then my diff and i feel like the tranny is next so input or knowledge lended is appricated thanks guys.

Diff gears are more likely to whine than trans. What diff did you put in?

The AP1 transmissions are known to have issues oiling the highest bearing in the tail shaft. They begin to make noise over time. It is fixable with the transmission in the car by just removing the tail shaft housing, number 14 or 13 in this picture, I just replaced both.

Mine's been making noise for quite a while now, I guess this is it.

It hasn't gotten any worse at least...

It gets worse exponentially as once there is an imperfection in a bearing it will wear faster and faster. I guess eventually you will have a bearing failure but I think you would get annoyed by the sound before it gets to that point.
