At a Cadillac or GMC dealer.
GMSMFM< (there are several version of this, do a google search) is much better than MTFII, I have run both back to back and the GM is clearly easier shifting across the full temperature range. It is also very expensive. This has been verified for years by many other drivers. It last for me about 15,000 miles, before it gets notchy. I am now running a blend of amsoil and redline that is a lot cheaper, but not quite as smooth.

Exactly. Why does every post have to turn into preaching?

If GMSMFM is that easy to find then I will give it a try myself next time I swap out my trans fluid. I've heard good things, but was under the impression it was phased out and didn't bother to dig into it to see if I could find any.
I wouldn't consider $12 expensive either (based on hardtopguy.com)... I'm more than happy to shell out a little more if the fluid is worth it. The LE1605 I just put in my diff cost me about $21/qt shipped, but I am more than happy to pay it because it is a proven value.
