Default Trans Fluid Fill Bolt stuck

I'm trying to change my tranny fluid, but I'm having trouble getting the tranny fluid fill bolt loose. I've tried hitting the ratchet handle with a rubber mallet, but it still won't budge. The only cheater bar I have is a 1/2 inch, and that does not fit the 3/8" 17mm socket.

Any advice?

17mm socket on the bolt. 3/8" drive. Trying to snap it instead of a slow burn. It's not budging.

It's only supposed to be ~30 ft-lb; I'm not sure what to tell you. I usually hit the ratchet with my hand to break it loose, no sweat.

Boy! Do I feel stupid. I was trying to open the wrong bolt. It was far more than 33 ft lbs, and much longer than I recalled. Yet is also had red paint on it. I put it back in and corrected myself. The fill bolt came off with no trouble. I wonder which bolt I took out first?

Did it look like the big threaded hex-plug in the middle of this photo? My guess is the plug has something to do with access &/or assembly of the transmission. As long as it didn't come off, you are prolly okay.

That hex bolt is the sealing bolt that is torqued to 51 ft lbs.

I took out a bolt that is in front of that large hex bolt. It's back in, but may not be torqued down enough.

I think it might have been a lower transmission mounting bolt. It is fairly long and looks like the bolts on page 13-10 of the 2000 - 2004 Service Manual. Yet there is no torque value that I see for those bolts.
