Default Transmission/clutch problem

Starting late last winter, I would have intermittent problems, when the car was cold, with the transmission--it sometimes would take some real force to get it out of gear after slowing for a light or stop sign. This always disappeared when the car warmed up.

The problem disappeared entirely when the weather warmed up. And returned, in the same way, when the weather cooled off again. I've bled the clutch fluid, to little or no avail. I've changed the tranny oil (Honda MTF; I didn't like the GM stuff when I tried it), with no effect.

The clutch doesn't slip when semi-abused (giving it some real gas in fourth gear at low speed, for instance), and shifting is smooth and easy when things are warmed up.

Can anyone offer useful assistance here?

Thanks.

I know i have problems getting in gear when it's cold but usually putting it in neutral is easy..hmm

the s2k tranny does seem more clunky than the rx-8 (i have owned both) so i guess the s2k tranny is more sensitive or temp so i just end up babying it until 3 bars

Try pumping the clutch pedal several full strokes just after start-up and see if it improves.
