Default Transmission fluid leak

I was bleeding my clutch slave cylinder over the weekend and I noticed a small bit of oil weeping out from one of the transmission bolts. The overall fluid level inside was still good, I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this before, and is there any way to deal it up without removing and disassembling the transmission. It's at the rear of the trans on the bottom, you can see a little drop. Not enough for it to actually drip on the ground though.

I've noticed a leak at the front of the trans where there is a slit in the case but don't know where it is originating from /:

If tranny fluid leak... check tranz input shaft seal. If engine oil... rear main engine seal. Both require removing tranny. If loss isn't too bad, prolly keeping fluid topped off and area clean will be ok. Until the leak gets real bad or next clutch change.

Looks like it is coming from between your secondary shaft end case and the transmission case. That area can be resealed without removing the whole transmission.

Oh, that's good news. I might try that then on my next fluid change. Thanks!

wipe the drop of fluid and smell it, gear oil has a very strong smell quite different than motor oil.

Quite often a drop like that comes from higher up and just ends up there as it drips downward and rearward. It could be leftover from a previous tranny fill, or excess motor oil that spilled below. Do the smell test first to determine the type of fluid.
