Transmission not smooth

Default Transmission not smooth

Hi guys my 2002 ap1 is very rough shifting into 2nd gear and I have changed my trans fluid a month ago with Honda mtf maybe my clutch needs adjusting idk it just feels like I have to force it into 2nd gear sometimes even 1st gear is a bit hard to get into all the other gears are fine

Have you tried to replace and bleed the clutch fluid?

I was thinking to try gm/acdelco synchromesh friction modified what do you guys think maybe it's the tranny fluid

Or maybe I should adjust the clutch pedal rod to go in a bit more when I press the clutch in

Adjust the rod only to remove the slack, but under no circumstance should it be adjusted beyond that.

Just adjusted the clutch rod and it fella much better I am Gona adjust the pedal sensor so the pedal comes up a bit more just to make sure the clutch is fully engaged

Note that you'll need to readjust rod whenever (after) you adjust pedal height.

Yeah I raised the pedal a bit and extended the rod a bit the bite point is a bit higher but since the rod goes in deeper when I press the clutch pedal I have smoother shifts
